Leestrom GmbH supports Sailing 4 Science (S4S). It is a platform for students, research scientists, citizens, sailors and enterprises to collaborate for ocean research. S4S are an independent foundation representing two of Europe’s foremost Universities in interdisciplinary marine sciences. S4S have started an eight-year project with a vision to sail around the world until 2030. Protecting the oceans, lakes and rivers is a core interest also of Leestrom. By developing, manufacturing and installing black-and greyewater pumps into marinas, we are trying to reduce the pollution of the sea.
